Guerlain by Emilio Pucci Powder Brush

This brush from Guerlain by Emilio Pucci may be considered old news, but since it's still available for purchase I thought I'd go ahead and share what I think about it.  If you own any of the Guerlain Meteorites, I think this brush comes in handy.  I own a lot of face powder brushes and none of them pick up powder off the little pearls like this one does.  It's not a super soft brush and feels a little prickly when putting it on your face.  It does an excellent job for what it's meant to do but I probably wouldn't use it with any other product.

Here is what Sephora's website say's about the product:
What it is:
An elegant Kabuki-style powder brush.

What it does:
This brush is designed to work perfectly with the Météorites Perles d’Azur pigments and to pick up just the right amount of Terra Azzurra Powder. The brush, decked out in chic midnight blue, is stored in a stylish Pucci print pouch.

Autumn In The Ozarks

Gasconade River.

I wanted to share the changing foliage in my neck of the woods.  It's so breathtaking and gorgeous I had to show it to my faithful readers.

Here is a picture of Sand Stone Spring

 The start of the spring.

 Love this place!

 The colors are gorgeous.

My favorite picture, my beautiful family enjoying our surroundings.

Isn't the scenery gorgeous?  I feel truly blessed to be living in such a gorgeous part of Missouri.  I thank God for the beauty he has surrounded me with and the family I get to enjoy this beautiful land with.  I am one lucky lady.

My favorite Everyday Lips: Edward Bess Ultra Slick Lipstick in Demi Buff, Defining Lip Liner in Natural and Deep Shine Lip Gloss in French Lace

Months ago while stalking edwardbess.com I came across
a video he made called "Your Perfect Pout."  I don't know about you but I'm always looking for that perfect everyday color that just goes with everything.  I really liked the way it looked on the model so I decided to buy the pieces he recommended for getting my perfect pout.

First, he suggests using Ultra Slick Lipstick in Demi Buff, in the video he states that he "designed this color to be like your lips only better."  The color is a medium rosy nude.  The lipstick feels wonderful on and smells delicious but I can't make out exactly what the scent is.  I really love this color, unfortunately I can't find it for purchase anymore and it makes me really sad.  I hope the color comes back.  Next, he says to apply Defining Lip Liner in Natural.  Edward suggests applying the liner on top of the lipstick to get a softer more natural look and have a "fuller more prominent" appearance. The color of the Natural lip liner is slightly darker than the lipstick.  Lastly, you top the lips with Deep Shine Lip Gloss in French Lace.  French Lace is a nude pink color and it also has that same wonderful smell that the lipstick has.  This gloss is slightly sticky but still feels moisturizing.  So, there you have  it that is how I get my "perfect pout."  You can find the lip liner and lip gloss I mentioned at edwardbess.com.  I'm crossing my fingers that Demi Buff Lipstick will come back or something similar will appear.  If anyone knows of a dupe, please leave a comment.

Lancome Color Design Eye Shadow Palette in Petal Pusher: Photos, Swatches and Thoughts

I have a Lancome palette to share with you that I bought awhile back called Petal Pusher.  This is a very pretty but frosty palette.  Although it is frosty, it's very wearable.  This palette includes five shades: an all over base, lid color, crease color, highlighter and a liner/contour color.  It comes with a "how to" pamphlet for a day and night look.  Also, housed in the palette are my favorite sponge tip applicators. One is standard sized for applying shadow and the other is shaped perfectly for precise liner application.  I never throw these out, I love them!

Here is what Lancome's website say's about the product:

Infinitely luminous. Sensationally smooth. All-in-one 5 shadow palette to brighten eyes.

Lancôme’s versatile, all-in-one palette conveniently creates a full eye look for day or night.

Experience the newest generation of luminosity as silky lustrous powders transparently wrap the skin, allowing a seamless layering of pure color for a silky sheen and radiant finish.

Build with absolute precision and apply the shades in 5 simple steps (all over, lid, crease, highlighter and liner) to design your customized eye look. Contour, sculpt and lift in soft day colors or intensify with dramatic evening hues for smoldering smoky effects.

Long wear, 8-hour formula.

Outdoor shot, in direct sunlight.

The all over base color is a frosty baby pink.  The lid color is a frosty rose gold.  The crease color is a matte suede taupe.  The highlighter is a frosty golden bronze while the liner/contour color is a chocolate brown with gold and bronze sparkles.  The eye shadows are all velvety soft and easy to blend and the colors can be intensified by applying them wet (they also last longer that way).  I get an 8 hour wear with these if I use an eye shadow base.  This a very soft and feminine palette that I enjoy using for daytime looks.  You can find this product on Lancome's website for $49.
