Moving

Just wanted to drop a quick note, to let my readers know that the reason I haven't been blogging so much lately is that I am moving.  I have only a month to get this house packed up and I have to also keep it up for people to come look at.  I will have a post up here and there but I probably won't be up to full speed blogging until sometime in July when I'm settled in my new home.  Say some prayers for me, the closest mall with a Neiman Marcus is an hour and half drive....gasp!  Will I survive living in the middle of nowhere?  I guess we'll see.  This city girl just has to make the most of it.

xoxo,
Adriana

  1. Congratulations on your new move! I would give anything to be moving! You will survive. ;-) You'll just shop more online like me. ;-)

  2. Hope the new place is great! If you need to, make the distance to the store part of the blog. How do you choose colors on line, we can all use tips on that. Can only get to the store infrequently, so how do you plan what to look at and buy to make the most of your time? Maybe local salons carry unusual stuff (one near here carries julie hewett, for example, nice stuff but not in dept stores)

However you do it, just be sure to keep blogging. Love your work

    1. Ann Onymous,
Thank you so much! Those are great ideas! I think the great outdoors will also make for great practice in getting better at my photography skills.

  3. Good luck with the move. Are you still in North Texas, or did you go more towards Central Texas?

And I would love to read about picking colors online! Sadly like your new casa, NM is 1.5 hours away from me... *sobs*

    1. HI JoElla, I'm still in North Texas but I'm moving out of state further North. The nearest City of consequence would be St. Louis. I'm going to have to drive up there at least once a month.

  4. Where I live we have the normal counters (estee, clinique Lancome and finally got a MAC counter) and it is so hard to pick online. I am a weird color match (light olive) so foundations are out. But in a strange way I have started playing more with drugstore finds. I have found some great little gems at the grocery/drug stores. They may not be higher end, but they have allowed me to play and then decide if I want to bump up to them.

Hopefully you didn't get hammered by the storms last night.. they hit us really early this morning. Moving and rain = NO FUN!

    1. I'm hoping we have some counter at the AFES on base. I've seen estee lauder at the one at Ft. Hood, we shall see.

We did get hammered, the lightning was so bad that we lost power at least 5 times. I have your package all ready to go, I will be mailing it out today via USPS priority mail. I well send you a tracking #.

      :)

  5. Thank you sweets!

Hopefully the AFES has some fun stuff. I know the one in Ft Worth has some goodies. I go play when my parents take me. At least you can look at the humungo catalog and order from that.

Thankfully we just had lots of lightning and wind and rain, but peeps did lose power near me. Now back to the hot and muggy Texas summer weather.. I am already wishing for October and the cold fronts!
