Sephora + Pantone Universe Color Of The Year Lip Gloss Set: Photos, Swatches and Review

Another item I picked up from the Sephora + Pantone Universe Color Of The Year Collection is this set of four lip glosses.  They are limited edition and exclusive to Sephora, they sell for $20.  All shades are called Tangerine Tango but each has a different finish (Glaze, Luminous, Opal and Vivid).

 Tangerine Tango Luminous

 Tangerine Tango Luminous is a bright coral color with gold shimmers.

 Tangerine Tango Vivid

 Tangerine Tango Vivid is a bright creamy orange.

Tangerine Tango Glaze

 Tangerine Tango looks like it's dark in the tube but it is a nice and sheer pinky coral with iridescent shimmers.

Tangerine Tango Opal

 Tangerine Tango Opal is a gorgeous coral with pink and gold shimmer.

My thoughts on this is three out of four isn't bad, especially for the price.  I loved all the colors except Tangerine Tango Vivid.  I can't use Vivid alone without feeling like a clown, but if I blot some off and apply a different gloss on top it's okay.   My favorites are Tangerine Tango Opal and Glaze.  I really like the applicator it's soft and bendable.  The formula is really nice and feels very moisturizing.  I love the way it makes my lips feel.  There is a fruity scent to them and they last about 3hrs on my lips.  The Vivid and Luminous shade last a little longer.  These particular shades might be too much for someone with very pale skin, but I'm no expert on matching colors to skin tone.  I think these were definitely worth the money and I'm happy to have them, but I think Vivid will sit in my vanity unused.
