Deborah Lippmann Private Dancer Mirrored Chrome Nail Lacquer: Photos, Swatches and Thoughts

If you're a Deborah Lippmann fan then you probably already know she just released three Mirrored Chrome Nail Lacquers in colors Private Dancer, Suggar Daddy and Swagga Like Us.  I shared Swagga Like Us with you yesterday and this morning I am sharing Private Dancer.  Private Dancer is said to be a "gilded ultra violet" color.  I am not a lover of purple, it's not my favorite color and I almost didn't buy this shade.  If you follow my blog you already know I love blue.  I am so glad I decided to buy it, because it is the most gorgeous shade of purple.  I love that you can get the wow effect without glitter!  Depending on how the light hits the nail, it can look like it has a mix of pink and lavender.  I wore this polish yesterday and I couldn't stop looking at it.  My two year old daughter kept saying "puhple," when she saw it and insisted I paint her nails with it too.  So you know it's got to be gorgeous if the color caught the attention of a two year old. She also stared at her toe nails all day and kept showing them off to us.  There was even a point in the day where she was laying down and she picked her leg up to admire her toes, LOL.  I wanted to squeeze her cute little piggies.   My husband and neighbors liked the color as well.  I'm not sure if there is another color like it because I don't own very many purple shades as I stated before.  This one is simply gorgeous and I consider it a must have.

Here is what the Neiman Marcus website say's about the product:
"I am thrilled to introduce my new Mirrored Chrome Nail Lacquer. An elegant new formulathat creates a true mirrored, chrome-like finish. Previously something you could only achieve through pricey salon treatments, now you can get that luxe, highly-reflective look at home with my new formula. It's like Minx in a bottle!"

All four photographs above were taken indoors and are white balanced.  No flash was used.

You can pre-order the polishes on www.neimanmarcus.com or buy them now on Deborah Lippmann's website for $18 each.  A reader also informed me that you can get free shipping today on the brand's website.
